What are High Protein Bars?

Our newly formulated High Protein Bars are a convenient, great tasting and nutritious protein snack. We specifically reformulated our original High Pro Bars, so that each 80g bar is packed with an impressive 30g of high quality protein, derived from a blend of fast and slow release proteins, making it a perfect nutritious snack between meals. This is not your typical high protein bar, we have specifically transformed the nutritional make up to make sure that we offer a high quality, soft-centred, low sugar protein bar.

We recognise that it may be challenging to take on extra protein with hectic lifestyles faced by many people today. It can then be easy to fall into the pitfalls of skipping meals or relying on nutritionally poor, quick fix snacks to get you through those long days. We have formulated the High Protein Bar with the customer in mind. So that they can conveniently fit into pockets, bags, car glove compartments etc. making sure your protein demands are met no matter what your circumstances.

On top of the improved texture from the original High Pro bars, we have gone that extra mile and brought two new mouth-watering flavours into the range, which we can guarantee will satisfy your sweet tooth. They contain a blend of fast- and slow-release proteins, meaning they’ll deliver a sustained supply of this important nutrient throughout the day. They’re also high in fibre and have over 23g of carbs per bar, making them ideal to refuel after a tough training session.²

Available in five indulgent flavours, they’re low in sugar, great for on the go, and will have you hitting targets without any meal prep.

1. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.

Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. This beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours, and no later than 6 hours, following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.

SUGGESTED USE: Consume as a high protein snack, as and when required.
