Inedible
1Tried this product in several different ways and honestly must say its inedible. Tastes vile, far too sweet with a very false vanilla, powdery flavour. Actually made me feel sick. But apparently this is how its supposed to taste when I raised my concerns with product control.Goes Well With:Nothing

Can we put an end to this...
3I am writing this review to ask all of you who give 5 star reviews to please STOP. I am sick to death of MP adding so much sweetener to these products that they just taste like a pint of stevia. Every single flavour has no flavour other than sweet - this is the third product I have purchased and all three have been the same. Honesly just use natural flavours such as raw cocoa for chocolate - vanilla pods for vanilla -WITHOUT adding sweetener. Unfortunately, until MP create a range of their excellent products which actually taste like they are made for human consumption, I will no longer be purchasing their products. Back to CNP I go...Goes Well With:About 50g of cocoa powder to make it taste like chocolate and not stevia water.

Tastes awful
1I was very excited to try this product as I have tried the other protein shake that wasn’t for weight gain and that was very yummy. However, I can’t say the same for this shake! It didn’t mix at all and my drink had so much undissolved powder in. I tried it again with less powder than they recommended and it still wouldn’t mix. Tastes far too sweet and not even drinkable. My boyfriend thought the same and we also purchased the Strawberry and cream which was also awful. Don’t recommend.

The Flavour & The Effectiveness of it is Great!
5Let’s start off with me. I am really, really, REALLY skinny and I have the fastest metabolism going out of everyone. I have tried countless amount of times to put some weight on and then I came across MyProtein. Wasn’t a friend recommendation or anything. I just stumbled across the website. Then I seen the customer reviews on each product and how everything is so detailed and the PRICES are so cheap! I ordered the Extreme Gainer Blend in the flavour Milk Tea just because I drink a lot of tea and thought it would be a good idea. It was a great idea. The powder works perfectly with my other food items. Have this shake twice a day and don’t have it alone! I use blueberries, peanut butter, milk (or water whatever you prefer), and a dash of oats. Put them all together in a blender and mix them well until you get a smoothie consistency. Then that’s it! This is the ultimate weight gain shake and you definitely need to try it. I also go to the gym to tone my muscles and it’s also great to keep me occupied during the day. Drink plenty of water (that should be a no brainer) and keep eating more! But with this protein powder, you will gradually start to eat more yourself and trust me you will notice it! Goes Well With:Blueberries, Oats, Peanut Butter (Try MyProtein’s 100% Peanut Butter!), & Milk or Water (Whichever one you prefer)

Chocolate Smooth Extreme Gainer
5Does what it says, however the chocolate smooth is very sweet and silky. Recommend trying another flavour.

4So I’m on my second lot of milk tea 5kg. First time I had this flavour was a mistake.. and was worried I’d be stuck with an awful flavour! I was pleasantly surprised though! Actually tastes lovely compared to others! It’s not sickly at all and mixes really well! ( I always use an electric blender though ) I always mix with full fat milk and normally add a banana just to bulk it out a little! Goes Well With:Full fat milk, bananas, peanut butter!

Good product
5First started this product when I was 13 stone (6ft tall, 28 yo). Always struggled to put on weight and playing football twice a week didn’t help. Recommend you mix it in a blender, I tend to make 2 portions at a time in there, also add peanut butter, olive oil and whole milk. Makes each shake around 1000 calories. I train 4/5 times a week heavy sessions and using this product gives you plenty of energy throughout the day and for your sessions. After 8 weeks of having 3 regular meals and 2 of these shakes a day I was 14 stone 2. I also accounted for the 500 calories you lose during an intense workout, I made sure my calories were somewhere between 3500-4000 a day. Goes Well With:Whole milk, heavy weight sessions, dedication.

Taste way too sweet but got used to it
4Ordered strawberry, it tastes very sweet and reading the review this issue seems to come up very often for pretty much every tastes (apparently milk tea is the least sweet of all). I can't judge if it works or not yet, but I digest it very well which is surprising as my stomach and bowel are very sensitive. It helps me to got to the toilet too, not a bad thing. Beside the sweet taste I'm happy with the product so far, I recommend to order a sample first or the unflavoured + flavour drops to avoid being disappointed by the excessively sweet taste. Goes Well With:water
