4Got the package has promised Found the taste but bitter but still using it. Easy to mix having it twice a day with training days and off days . Just need to sort the taste out definitely will check out a different flavor.

dumped in trash
3Ordering a no-flavour pack was the biggest mistake. No flavour should mean no flavour. It gives a disgusting bitter taste in water. The whole pack is dumped into trash bin after using once. Big disappointment.Goes Well With:nothing

Sour Apple BCAAs
5These are the perfect infra workout supplement. The flavour is slightly sour but not loads and obviously they are still but I tend to favour the ones with a little bit of fizz in - personal preference. They mix well but you do need to give a really good shake if you add after the water. The only thing I would say is the little scoop doesn't fit in the neck of a standard water bottle so if this is how you drink your BCAAs it does get messy. The pack re seals amazingly well and trust me I am an expert as I store mine in the car and all other brands including muscle food pop open by themselves and spill everywhere!

Pick the right flavour
4Have tried Holland and Barrett and the MyProtein stuff tastes better and is much better in pouch form! The berry blast and lemon/lime are excellent as masking the flavour of the BCAA (in spite of the super-artificial colourings!). Overall much prefer this to protein which is thick and gloopy. BCAAs are the way forward and much more like a sports drink. Don't notice any difference in mass and strength from the switch over to BCAAs. A must buy.Goes Well With:Water - get the right flavour and you don't need anything else.

BCCA watermelon
5I've only used it for a short amount of time but definitely seems to help with retaining mass when in defeciet! Watermelon is quite a nice flavour and would certainly recommend! Well worth the money for the amount you get so definitely buy some BCCAs you won't be disappointed! (Not sure about other flavours but don't get the red berry one)Goes Well With:Water, even juice with ice and other things to keep it interesting

Blue Rasberry BCAA's
3The blue rasberry flavour is not great and is far to sweet and bitter. I would strongly advise getting a more natural flavour such as orange or peach and mango. I found the product had a strange after taste and if I tried to swallow it in 1, the taste would be too sickly and bitter. As for the effectiveness of the product, it does what is is supposed to do and fairly well. I had no problems after leg day with painful DOMS as I usually do and I would recommend taking it pre or post workout, as both were effective for me. I believe in taking BCAA's as much as possible, for bulking and cutting, so it is good that MyProtein do a 1kg bag too. I will be ordering again but in a different flavour.Goes Well With:Very cold water,

Berry blast
5Got the 'Berry Blast' flavour and mixed 10g of it in with a few scoops of vanilla protein. Tastes kind of like raspberry ripple ice cream. Would recommend!Goes Well With:Vanilla protein & water

I think it works with the DOMS
5I have done CrossFit now for ~ 9 months (did I mention I CrossFit?) and what always gives me DOMS, more-so than heavy squats, is high volume bodyweight squats. As well as doing CrossFit (did I tell you that already?), I'm a scientist, so I know a sample of one is not evidence, but I reckon I get less DOMS if I drink BCAAs before/during a CrossFit (I'm a CrossFitter!!!) session. Did a session yesterday involving 150 air squats, not super high volume, but usually enough, to have me crawling up the stairs, and groaning like an old man every time, I have to pick something up. No DOMS today but perhaps I should wait until tomorrow to be sure :) I think, I think - that I'm also shifting a little more body-fat than usual, but I can't rule out small diet and training volume changes. One last thing, I'm on my second lot of BCAA. First was the tablets, now on Berry Blast (much better!). During a week when I ran out, I'm pretty sure I had worse DOMS. So Sample of one aside, I'm going to carry on taking - at CrossFit.Goes Well With:water, CrossFit, talking about CrossFit

Bcaa
4Great product, despite being unflavoured you still get a bit of an after taste needs mixing well! Great effects from this product though
