4IV only recently tried this protein so I can only share my experience with it for the period I have used it. I used the whey protein isolate previously, but noticed when using that I'd feel really bloated, sickly etc. (not saying it's a bad product, it just doesn't seem to agree with my body). So I decided to switch to this protein and IV noticed that I do not suffer with bloating no where near as much, IV even noticed my waist is smaller, probably due to less bloating. In regards to muscle gains, ATM, it's still early but the fact I've reduced bloating on my waist and managed to keep size on my lower body, I can't complain. Also this product contains 1.5g of fibre in each serving which is very useful if your trying to up your fibre intake. I don't usually like when people only review on taste but I only say this as when I first tried this product with my usual fruit, it tasted disgusting, but after trialing with banana and peanut butter, it tastes completely different. I urge people not to be put off if it doesn't taste great straight away, you just need to find a combination that works well with the taste of the product. There is a slight chalk/grain texture but IV also fount it depends what the protein is mixed with. Goes Well With:Peanut butter and banana

Essential Fitness Supplement
4I like to have protein supplements with my cereal. This mixes quite well compared with some other protein powders. Still quite thick though. The pea taste is quite prominent and I can't say it is exactly appealing, but not too off putting either. Early days yet so cannot rate its effectiveness as a supplement, but hopes are high since it is a complete protein.Goes Well With:Cereal and flavourings!

Unflavoured
1I normally buy unflavoured whey which is very versatile and can be mixed with many things. I bought the unflavoured pea protein as it was much cheaper, assuming it would be a similar situation. I was wrong, it is disgusting. The flavour cant seemed to be masked by anything and will turn into a mushy pea texture if the ratio of powder to water is too high. If you're buying this for the value proposition, I'd recommend getting a flavoured version.Goes Well With:Nothing I've tried

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING
1After watching the Game Changers and Forks Over Knifes, i have decided to take on the plant based diet and training plan. I have been looking around such as Vivo Life, bulk powders etc however after looking at the reviews on this Pea Protein it seemed pretty good. Biggest ever regret i made was just looking at the price and protein content. I have taken 1 scoop and this is the most disgusting protein powder ive has in my life. I simply cannot understand how people can even consume this. The smell and taste is horrendous, it makes me want to be sick. I think after doing some research, i cant afford the better stuff such as Vivo Life, i will be stick to MyProtein Impact Whey as you simply cant beat it, for the price, quality and quantity, I am defiantly not feeling the Vegan protein whey and ive heard the same from many people including a few friends. Dont risk it people, stick to the normal impact whey or if money ain a thang, go for Vivo Life. Goes Well With:NOTHING.

Trying pea protein for the first time
3With it starting to get cold and now soup season I bought this instead of a flavoured sweet whey protein to perhaps add into soups to make them have more protein. It mixed well, and didn’t make my soup taste horrible but I don’t think I’d chose to put it in a soup again. Seen as it had good mixibility I’ll still to fruity smoothies and hope it tastes better in that.

Impressed
5Get loads for you money and the taste isn't overwhelming. Keeps me going until past lunchtime if I have it in a smoothie for breakfast. Goes Well With:I mix with almond milk, chia seeds, spinach, avocado or coconut oil and flaxseed. Not exactly tasty but totally palatable

Tastes gross, needs a strong flavour to mask
3Bought because it was on sale, not sure I would buy again as it’s very savoury tasting (needs something strong to mask!) but haven’t tried using to make savoury dishes like hummus which it may fit better rather than as a shake! Also very viscous, perhaps needs more water mixing with it!

Not for the weak
3Good and cheap source of protein, dispatched in a moot taste and mixture powder. Too bad it's just unconsumable, can't mask its strong after-taste with anything in the world. Goodluck for those you take the risk.Goes Well With:Can't find a single thing
