Great bars
5Have used these bars for a few years now. They’re great for an in between meal snack. They are quite chewy and really need to have them with a cuppa. I find the taste and texture great but appreciate that it is subjective. I will definitely keep using these bars!Goes Well With:Cup of tea!

bland tasting bar that fills you up
3The bar isn't very tasty. Very chewy and the best you get is a slight cocoa powder taste. It does however fill you up so gets a higher score in that department. Goes Well With:Nothing. Best used as a filler between meals.

Doubts about new recipe
2Bars delivered in new packaging appear to have a new recipe that significantly changes the taste compared to the bars in the old packaging. Will endevour to get used to the change.

Far Better Than What Recent Reviews are Saying
5So I've seen a lot of reviews for this bar which are highly negative, mainly with how dry they are. However the most recent box I bought was no where near what some reviews are making it out to be. I've been buying the Real Raspberry bar for a number of months and yes some have been dry and chewy I think this was due to the company removing the last bit of stock from the previous recipe (note this is purely speculation and I could be wrong) as some of the older boxes I received had the old packaging. I was hesitant to re-purchase as I had seen the recent reviews giving it a one star however as I said the most recent box is amazing and honestly one of the best bars I've ever had. I can't say much for the chocolate varieties as I don't tend to go for chocolate flavouring often so they may be different.

Tastes Terrible
1Tried these instead of the Chocolate chip flapjacks and they were the worst protein bars I have tasted by far. Dry chewy and tasteless.

Oat and Whey protein bar
4Not the best tasting protein bar in the world but think that's because it so densely packed. Pretty dry and chewy and you'll need a drink of water to get through one!! They've got the ratios I want for an afternoon snack so suit me fine.Goes Well With:lots of water!!!

Used to be good, terrible now
1I used to buy these alot and thought they were great. However - this is the first time I've bought them for a while, I don't know what theybr done to the recipe but the texture is so hard and dry they really are not good. The only positive I can say is it feels you up, if you can manage to eat. Cant work out how they passed a quality test, wish I hadn't bought 2 boxesGoes Well With:A refund

Regarding the mixed review
5I read a lot of reviews about this before buying it because it seems like it is one of the fewer bars that actually has a bunch of 1 star ratings. Biggest complaints are that it’s dry and hard enough to break your teeth. Regarding the hardness, are y’all teeth’s made out of gummy bears? It’s definitely not soft like other bars but it’s not difficult to bite a piece off. Dryness, it is a bit dry but nothing extreme like many imply. I like the chewiness aspect of it and definitely takes a while longer to eat.
