2I don’t know what these bars were like before you changed the recipe but I know it’s the first & last time I’m buying them! If I buy them again it’ll be to build myself a house a wolf could not blow down! If the taste was great that would be something, but there’s really nothing going for these bricks. Goes Well With:Long-term jaw damage

Great & filling meal replacement
4One of the more common reviews is about the (non)chewiness of these bars. I've tried Chocolate Peanut which will indeed bulk those jaw muscles you never knew you had. However, Salted Caramel is absolutely tasty and much much softer to chew, so I recommend that one. I'm off to try the other two flavours now. The bar is very filling and keeps me on the go for hours easily, it's also great if you have a need to indulge in sugary sweets. Granted, it doesn't taste as exciting as a regular chocolate bar, because it's just a block of protein and oats, so if you don't mind the slight boringness of oats (which I don't), the caramel (or chocolate, raspberry ...) covering tastes just fab!Goes Well With:a warm drink

Better than some.
4So not as good as Carb Crushers but they are a lot cheaper so I keep stock of these for when i've run out or low of the CC's and turn to one of these. A little more chewy but still an all round great bar,Goes Well With:Everything

Chocolate bar alternative!
5I can't eat these anymore due to my IBS but I used to love eating these after the gym as an alternative to Snicker bars. The chocolate peanut variation tasted super excellent I felt! =)

a bit of a heavy duty chew but overall good.
3I buy the chocolate chip flavour bars and find them fairly good. They give you a bit of an unexpected jaw muscle workout but if you chew well there's no real problem. I find them a quick easy and fairly nice snack alternative to crisps or chocolate if i'm in a hurry. Seem to have a few too many 'high tech' chemical/sweetener ingredients which puts me off a bit but overall I keep as an emergency if on the go and want something to keep a bit full.Goes Well With:Black Coffee

Solid but tasty
3Tried these bars for a change to my usual high-protein bars and probably wouldn’t buy them again as it’s like trying to eat a brick they are very hard I was scared I might break my teeth on them! They do taste quite nice though perhaps you’d need to keep a bar in your pocket for a while before eating to try soften it up a bit? Goes Well With:Coffee or tea

Did not enjoy!!!!
1Did not enjoy these at all!! Accidentally bought these instead of the protein flapjacks. Taste and texture were horrible. Did not taste remotely of chocolate or oats!! After taste was also unpleasant. Couldn’t finish the box, won’t be buying again. If you’re used to the typical hard, chewy protein bar these may be to your liking but otherwise stay clear!!! Goes Well With:Nothing
