Cheaper, higher protein and lower sugar than whey protein
5This is great stuff. I switched to it from whey and I’m not vegan. Benefits in the review title. Tastes great mixed with milk.

Very thick and grainy
3I ordered this as I wanted to try the banoffee flavour and I couldn’t seem to get this in the non soy version. My first impression is it’s a lot thicker than normal non soy whey protein but that’s fine, it actually worked better to make a healthier cheesecake/pudding. The taste is good, it’s sweet but I expected this with the flavour I chose. My biggest issue was the texture is very grainy. Maybe this is just me having never tried the soy whey protein before but the non soy mixes well and is smooth, this tasted very bitty. I ordered a 1kg bag so I’m going to try and put it in overnight oats to try and mask the grainy texture a bit. I’ve given it a 3/5 as it tastes like banoffee but for me the texture is very strange and I don’t know if I would order it again.

Tastes like chemicals
2I got the speculoos because I heard good reviews. However, it tastes closer to popcorn and tastes horrible. It’s just about edible but tastes of chemicals and washing liquid. Please give me recommendations of how to get rid of this.

Meh
2The taste is overpowered by sweetener and leaves a horrible after taste and a weird feeling in the throat. Doesn’t taste like specoloos at all. Don’t waste your money

First time buyer
5I've always been cautious when trying to buy protein powder as I previously had a bad experience with a different branded whey protein that left me feeling extremely bloated and lethargic. I took a chance with this soy protein as I read that vegan powder was much better than whey for bloating issues, and I'm so glad I did!! I've only taken this powder (natural strawberry flavour) for a couple of weeks now, but I'm definitely seeing progress, and to top it off I don't feel bloated or lethargic at all! I also have a problem with acne, and this doesn't seem to have impacted that either... what a bonus! The natural strawberry flavour (with water) tastes just like a slightly watered down milkshake, and no horrible aftertaste that a lot of people worry about. I'm sure with milk it would taste even better. It's so good that I have just ordered a 1kg bag, and it is already on its way. (what a quick delivery time!) I'd definitely recommend getting it whilst its on sale! I will 100% be using this powder for the foreseeable future.

Some flavours good, others not so much…
3The unflavoured is fine, I have also had the salted caramel and chocolate which are bearable. However recently I made the mistake of ordering “natural strawberry” and there is nothing natural about it, it’s absolutely grim. I had made my breakfast for work in bulk and added this and ended up throwing it all away plus the rest of the bag. The closest thing I could say it tastes like is a vape, which is not what I want from my overnight oats or protein shake.

Awful flavour - Quality decrease
1I have been using my protein for over 5 years, and recently I suddenly found that the smell, the texture and the taste of my favourite flavours have changed. I first detected it in the strawberry one. I thought, ok it perhaps is just this pack, but no. I purchased again and it was the same. Then, I changed to the salted caramel one, as I had used it years ago, and realised that the new "formula" has 23g of protein per scoop when previously it was 24g, meaning 100g less of protein in a 2.5kg pack. I also recently bought a raspberry and white chocolate sample. No testy at all. I'm very disappointed and probably won't buy this product again but try other brands.

Speculoos flavour
2Recently bought the speculoos flavour as I'm generally a big fan of Biscoff (or generic non-brand caramel biscuits), but the protein powder is just too much! Far too overwhelming a flavour to be consumed as a protein shake directly I've been able to make it tolerable as a smoothie, when it's watered down and combined with a banana. But I won't be buying it again
