Soy protein unflavoured - Surprisingly good
5DON’T TRY TO MIX IT IN A SHAKER NO NO NO!!!! For a great result use a blender, mixes like a dream and use 300ml minimum liquid, I used milk because I’m not actually vegan!! So I was sceptical that this could be anything more than something to make up and neck as fast as I could and get on with my day, for the sole purpose to get extra protein in my vegetarian diet. However I am pleasantly surprised. I chose unflavoured as I hate chemical sweetners (Basically evil and bad!!!) and as I am not on a low carb diet I can add my own flavouring. The first I tried was 300ml milk, the protein powder, fresh strawberry’s and vanilla essence - gave a light strawberry and vanilla flavour not too sweet but surprisingly palatable, then the next day to 300ml of milk and protein powder, I added half a well ripe banana, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, a large spoon of crunchy peanut butter (the good stuff 100% peanuts) and some vanilla essence and I blended it. Well hello that was better than expected!!! Then the next day I did the same and then forgot about it as I went to help with homeschooling a child and when I came back it had turned into a thick chocolate, peanut butter and banana flavoured pudding - totally lush and I am so full I can’t actually eat any lunch!!! Goes Well With:Cocoa powder + Peanut putter + banana + vanilla essence And Strawberry + vanilla essence

Takes some getting used to
3This was my first time trying vegan protein so it took me a few goes to get used to it. The taste is not great and has a sandy texture to it, but a big plus is that it is filling. With just water the taste is very noticeable and not particularly nice so I would recommend using around 20-25g serving. For me the best use of this protein was in a smoothie. I use a 30-35g serving with oat milk and mix it around before adding the rest of my smoothie. Mixing it first with milk/water is a must as it will hide the sandy texture, also adding ice is a big plus when blending the soy protein.Goes Well With:Smoothie

5Used different protein blend before this by far the best. Lovely flavour great to add to recipes or just as a drink. Goes Well With:Cooking or smoothies or by its self

Taste Could be improved
3The nutrition quality is very good although it doesn't taste much as chocolate. It is very sweet, the sucralose could be reduced a bit. I used it always with dark cocoa powder because the taste of chocolate is not well defined. The smell is good , and there you can smell the chocolate flavour. Next time i would go for vanilla though, more versatileGoes Well With:Dark cocoa powder

Yummy
4I am not a huge fan of shakes so I bought this to add to porridge and it tastes really nice. I think the smooth blend makes a difference as I’ve tried other powders in porridge before and they’ve not mixed in as well.Goes Well With:Mix 10g in with your morning porridge then top with pb and frozen berries

Good protein supplement
5Out of all the vegetarian protein supplements I like this one the most. It tastes ok, it mixes well. I think it's doing me good. Goes Well With:Summer fruits cordial

Depends on flavour
4This protein is pretty good, especially since it’s half the price of regular protein blend! I have chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and unflavoured and can say that vanilla is absolutely fabulous in flavour and not too fake sweet however the chocolate is far too artificially sweet in my opinion. And they have to be used with milk (water doesn’t work). Strawberry cream is nice too but borders on too sweet, although like chocolate, the flavour itself is quite good (just too much sweetener). The unflavoured I use for baking and making protein bars and it’s absolutely fab. Texture wise they’re all a bit grainy but not overly bad, especially for the price, and as long as it’s added after liquid and in a shaker, it is mostly lump free too! Would recommend any flavour except chocolate, but I’ve heard adding coffee may help so hopefully that may add a bit of bitterness! Goes Well With:Soy milk, oat milk, in baking

Really dislike the taste of this
1I love the normal myprotein whey powder but recently discovered I’m quite sensitive to the dairy. I switched to soy to try and over come this and the taste is SO unpleasant. It’s so powdery so doesn’t mix well in smoothies and just doesn’t agree with me atall.

It’s alright
3I took a chance on this and ordered 1kg in Chocolate Smooth. I make my shakes in a Nutribullet, so I don’t have any lumps thankfully, it’s just very thick so you do have to add a fair bit of liquid. The taste is average at best, I can’t put my finger on why it doesn’t taste super nice but it just doesn’t. I drink it because I need an extra hit of protein. I’ve found that it doesn’t do well in any other food/drink that isn’t a shake which is a shame because other powders I’ve used to do have that versatility. For the amount of protein it provides and the price, it’s good enough, but I won’t be buying again
