4Mixes thicker than I would have liked. Taste of chocolate is ok. Quite subtle. Overall, too thick. Lacking a little in flavour. Good price tho.Goes Well With:Milk. Better with water.

vile taste
3awful tasting protein powder compared to the vanilla one but is alright if you mix it with other stuff

3Mixed well but consistency not great if mixing as per instructions but much better with more fluid. Taste combined with the mouth feel you get with this is vile but I found adding a tablespoon of a branded hot chocolate powder made it palatable. Not sure if I’ll be recommending this one

Horrible taste and poor mixing
1Got the chocolate smooth one of these. Horrible stuff. The recommended ratio of water to powder is way off, turns too thick. Taste is also horrendous. Won't be buying again

Great dairy-free protein option
5I'm not vegan but am dairy intolerant, so can't (shouldn't) take whey protein. I was a fan of 'The Plant' range, but since it was discontinued I've been using this for a while. It's got a decent protein content for a non-whey option and mixes to a nice consistency. Difficult to say how effective it is but I'm definitely getting stronger, so I assume it's having at least some benefit! A word of advice for mixing, I found the best technique to avoid clumping is to part-fill the shaker with water - about a third full - and add the scoop of protein powder onto that. Give it a good shake and then top up with water. Goes Well With:The flavour was a bit too strong for me, so I also bought the unflavoured version and mixed them both in a tub. Now it has a nice subtle flavour.

Not good
2Taste is awful and leaves a coating on your tongue will not be buying again the only good thing is there’s less bloating with this than my usual whey isolate
