Not bad
5You have to get used to the taste, but for the price you pay it is a great product!

Great vegan source of protein
4The MyProtein vegan protein is my first vegan protein supplement so at the moment I have nothing to compare it to but I would definitely buy again. Other users have said its thick and grainy with a grassy taste which I definitely found as well. The thickness isn't a problem- in fact it helps you feel fuller. And make sure it's mixed thoroughly with an electric mixer/blender to minimise the graininess. Tastes better when mixed with strong flavours such as peanut butter and coffee rather than with fruit but I'm still experimenting. The colder it is the better it tastes as well - I half freeze mine then drink it as it thaws.Goes Well With:Mixed with coconut milk, half a frozen banana and either coffee or peanut butter. The colder the better! Mix thoroughly in a blender / with hand held electric mixer.

soy protein
4I was looking for a soy protein product and came across this option as I'm meat and dairy product free. After reading the reviews on its mixability and taste i was a little sceptical. But for the price it was a no brainer to give it a try, So now i have been using it a week and I think its great, yes it does mix thicker than other protein powders I've had before, but i actually quite like the thicker substance. If you prefer it thinner simply add more liquid, which in my case is soya milk. I also find it less powdery than other whey products i have had previously. So defiantly a good buy in my opinion.Goes Well With:Soya milk

High Protein - Warning it's THICK
5The unflavoured option is not a recommended if you have a weak stomach, it tastes like you'd imagine wallpaper paste to taste. Talking of wallpaper paste, it's the same consistency! However, for me both of these were expected you'll need at least 350ml of water for 1 scoop and 2 scoops for heavier wallpaper. I'd go for a flavoured version next time. Great product all round however you will need to be prepared! I actually tried this with milkshake flavourings, food flavourings, cocoa powders etc and the only thing that really worked was more water and a scoop of whey!Goes Well With:A strong stomach and B&Q paint brushes

Decent - but watch the salt!
3I recently bought the vanilla and chocolate flavours. The flavourings are strong enough to hide the bulk of the soy taste so don't worry about having to tolerate that wallpaper like taste of unflavoured soy protein. Soy protein is very different physically to whey - you need a good 100ml+ more liquid to make a shake thin enough to drink. Personally I like the thickness, but it is very filling so I'd avoid drinking it before you go to the gym. I find it really stands out as an ingredient for cooking, whey never seems to make nice pancakes/mug cakes etc. but being thicker, soy's ideal. My major issue with myprotein's soy is the absolutely absurd level of salt. At 3.8g per 100g its literally more salty than most oceans and you really can taste it. There's about 1g per scoop i.e 1/6th of your daily allowance. Salt isn't even on the ingredients list so it must be added at some point during the extraction of the protein from the beans. Ultimately, the salt content is what's put me off buying soy from MP again as there are other places that sell soy with at least half as much salt in.

Amazing
5Amazing! Strawberry and cream tastes like angel delight dessert! If you mix it with the rexommended water it actually has the consistency of angel delight as well! Mixed with around 300mls water it becomes drinkable. It mixes really well, I've had soy proteins in the past which stay lumpy but this is a dream! Highly recommend to Vegans and those with dairy intolerance!

Strange taste
4Generally a lovely product, and although it doesn't taste badly, it has a chemical like taste which is quite distinguishable and difficult to over power with any flavouring. Goes Well With:Strong flavours, ie chocolate, banana. I have even resorted to almond essence in an attempt to disguise the chemical taste

Soy protein review
4Good protein, doesn't go straight through you like some Whey does. Quite thick consistency so needs a bit more water than suggested, like 300ml.

Great! We need a 2.5KG bag PLEASE!
5I use the strawberry flavor very often as a alternative to whey as it doesn't work with me. With 100ml of water and 200ml of soya milk I seem to find it's a good texture. At first I used water and it does go very thick and doesn't taste as good. Chocolate and vanilla flavor I stay away from there not the best. The only thing I have found is you can't add carbs into it, oats just make it go solid. Really would like to see a 2.5kg bag!!! 1kg doesn't last me very long. Goes Well With:Soya milk.

Please make this available in 2.5kg flavoured bags.
5This stuff is very good. High protein content and doesn't upset my sensitive stomach at all and it mixes well. My only negative is the fact it's only available in 2.5kg bag as unflavoured. Which I am currently buying but it tastes simply awful. I have to down it mixed with 400ml of water. I purchased the flavoured drops you do but they don't take the bad flavour away at all and that's with a rediculous high amount of drops in it as well. It's doesn't make sense that you only do flavoured versions in 1kg bags. I won't buy 1kg bags. They don't last long enough and it works out more expensive.
